Open House Vilnius, the 11th edition of the Open Architecture Weekend, is taking place on May 10-11—and we invite you to be part of it! One of the most anticipated events in the capital, Open House Vilnius opens the doors to normally inaccessible buildings, offering unique architectural insights through guided tours led by volunteers.

Every year, hundreds of people contribute their time and enthusiasm. Since 2015, more than 3,500 volunteers have helped bring this event to life. Now, it’s your turn! Be part of the 2025 volunteer squad and join the festival of architecture.

Why Volunteer?

Volunteers are at the heart of Open House Vilnius, playing a key role in its success. Over one weekend, you’ll become a host at one of the participating buildings, welcoming visitors and leading guided tours.

How to Become a Volunteer

Anyone over the age of 18 can apply—regardless of profession, background, or place of residence. No prior architectural knowledge is needed!

The most important requirement is your commitment to volunteering for both days of the event and your willingness to learn. Each event building has experienced mentors who will prepare tour materials, coordinate the team, and introduce volunteers to the building’s history and spaces.

As a volunteer, you will be responsible for one designated building throughout the festival, where you will:

• Lead guided tours
• Manage visitor flow
• Help maintain order

Alternatively, you can contribute by supporting the event’s organisational work before and during the weekend.
