About

The Antakalnis quarters of private homes and villas are hiding their rarely known stories, the relics of famous people and unique architecture.

Do not be fooled: even though the exterior of the house of Petras Aleksandravičius looks like it hasn‘t changed since 1956 (when it was built), its interior is an already modern example. The architects who were renovating the house along with the sculptor’s daughter were very sensitive and subtle about their task. Therefore, you are able to see how the authentic brick wall, wooden beams and ceiling decorations match the modern surroundings, which are decorated by the busts, bas-reliefs, portraits, sketches and other works of the sculptor.
