“Small Planet Airlines” Office

About

“Small Planet Airlines” boldly chose for its office a building from the late 19th century, characterized by the historicism style, and, despite all the challenges, created its own authentic space within it.

The interior of this office is first and foremost memorable for being an office without doors. This message successfully encodes the company’s core values – openness and collaboration. This is also conveyed by the created interior, which required a lot of effort to combine the old architecture with new ideas. During the process, a few interesting stories arose about shorts or the railings that suddenly disappeared.

The office has been designed with as many shared workspaces as possible, within the limitations of the existing structure. In order to preserve the authenticity and quality of the building, the office interior uses as many natural materials as possible, such as solid wood doors, cork flooring, and exposed brick walls in the attic as a final finish. In this environment, illustrations created by an artist, reflecting important moment for the company, also found a place.

The existing architecture and location not only required compromises but also provided added value – employees can enjoy an inner terrace surrounded by trees and admire the views of Vilnius Old Town.
