ARCHITEKTAI – nežinomi, XIX a. pab. – XX a. pr.

The building was built in the middle of the 19th century by Vilnius Infantry Junker School, whose motto was “Even a solo Vilnius resident out there is a soldier”; The Great Hall used to have both a Junker school dance and lounge area and a hospital ward; The main staircase and the Great Hall itself are in parts of the building built at different times; Visitors are greeted by the original restored doors and a small roof above them; Sounds of music are heard in the Great Hall, that is the hall of Vilnius University, where art groups rehearse and concerts take place; The Hall is richly decorated with gypsum garlands, wreaths, antique ornaments, sculptural compositions of armor and weapons; The chairs of the hall are from the former cinema “Lietuva”.
