DC Pier office is one of the five Danke Bank buildings, which are in the neighbourhood of Žvėrynas. The modern six-story office was opened in 2018 on the site of the former historic Vilniaus duona bakery, which at the time, had a few hundred workers. Today, this office houses over one thousand employees. Many sustainable and innovative choices were made in this U-shape building. It needs less energy thanks to the solar panels on the roof; a new engineering system controls the interior humidity and the amount of sunshine. These and many other features earned the building one of the few BREEAM certificates in Lithuania. Here, special attention is paid not only to the overall comfortable work space but also to the social needs of the workers. The employees can use a cafeteria suited for 150 people, coffee spots, a gym, a games room and nap rooms.
All these offices in Saltoniškės street mirror different nature motifs. DC Pier‘s outstanding and dominating element is water. Hence the name – Pier. During our tour, you will find out how the central theme of water is utilised across the entire interior of the building and even within the names of the spaces.
