Vilnius Tech Park has begun its life as a quite closed military field hospital complex, designed and built on the former property of the Sapieha family instead of a park and garden. Currently, the ensemble is open to the public: after its reconstruction, the buildings, which survived to this day, became a modern technology park. New buildings have supplemented the 19th C. architectural complex with modern functions and shapes, without destroying the building’s structure.
