The Beepart workshop will not only be presented as great example of temporary architecture but also as creative solution to the problem of a lack of cultural life in residential areas. Object that was made out of three shipping containers and initiated by private customers have amused the people living in Pilaite District with various activities for more than six years. The freely transformed rooms accommodate a gallery, a fitness studio, art workshop spaces, a local handicraft shop, a cinema, etc.
During the excursion you will find out why Beepart has no address, grass grows on its roof, the toilets are flushed with sawdust and finally, why a toilet is illuminated in the evening. Also, we will ask the designer and owner of this concept, Andrius Ciplijauskas, to show the St Christopher statuette he was awarded for innovation and creativity.
